I’m Miranda Garza, writer, filmmaker, graphic designer, and visual creative from Mexico. I recently graduated from SCAD with a B.F.A. in Film & Television, and over the past few years I’ve directed short films, music videos, and experimental visuals rooted in performance, fashion, and emotional tension.
I don’t just make movies, I build stories ,sometimes scripted, sometimes abstract, always intentional. My work blends narrative with style, leaning into surreal imagery, character, and mood. I write, I direct, I concept from the ground up, always shaping tone, pacing, and visual identity across the full process.
I also edit ,mostly music videos, fashion pieces, and visual content where rhythm, emotion, and aesthetic instinct drive the storytelling. I’m drawn to formats that allow freedom, texture, and mood over traditional structure.
Visually, I design all my own world-building: posters, pitch decks, EPKs, and brand visuals that give every project a strong, consistent identity. Design isn’t separate from my process — it’s part of how I communicate voice before anyone hits play.
My work lives between chaos and control. Clean but emotional. Bold but intentional. Whether I’m directing, writing, or designing, I’m always chasing clarity, feeling, and style — all at once.
